Photograph brown bear and wolverine
North Gästrikland, Sweden
This June started with me nestled in a hide in North Gästrikland, Sweden. Joining me was a fellow photographer from Denmark. Our hearts were set on spotting brown bears. While nature doesn’t always provide, I remembered my visit last year – three bears did show up, but it was deep into the night, making photography a challenge.
This year? It went beyond our hopes. Brown bears graced us both in the late evening and early morning. But the show-stopper? A stunning wolverine, appearing in those same hours. Not to forget, a rather charming fox that kept popping in. I’m already planning next year’s visit. Trust me, these are moments you’ll treasure forever.
Quick note: Hang tight for my polar bear encounter! And yep, all these meetings – with the brown bear, wolverine, and polar bear – happened in the same week!
